Ingredients:
Cream style corn 1 tin (400 gms) Vegetables 1 -1/2 cups (carrot,beans,cabbage) Milk 1 cup Vinegar 1/2 cup Oil 1 - 1/2 tbsp Cornflour 1 tbsp Salt 1 - 1/2 tsp Pepper powder 1/2 tsp Sugar 1/2 tsp Onion 1 Garlic 6 flakes Green chillies 8 – 10
Directions:
Chop chillies into rounds and soak in vinegar for one hour. Open corn tin and empty contents into a vessel, stir with a spoon and keep aside. Chop all vegetables, onion and garlic into small bits. Heat oil in a thick vessel. Add onion and garlic, fry till soft. Add corn flour – fry on a low flame till raw smell disappears. Add corn, three cups of water, salt, pepper and sugar, and boil well for five minutes, stirring all the time. Add the vegetables – simmer for a couple of minutes.Add one cup of milk, boil just once - remove from heat. Serve soup, piping hot in soup bowls. Serve with tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soya sauce and the chillies soaked in vinegar as accompaniments for the soup to be added according to individual taste.
