11-year-old film director Master Kishen has been in the limelight ever since the National film awards (2006) were announced. The director won the Best Children's film award for his Kannada film and is featured in the Guinness book of world records as the youngest film maker. Now, another young man aged 18 years, Nithin from Kerala, is calling the shots for a movie.

Nithin is the director of Apoorva which has completed its shooting recently. Nithin is now concentrating on the post-production work of the film which features Vimala Raman in the lead. Others in the cast include Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy, Sanjeev and Kalpana. The young director is very confident about his movie for which he has also written the story and script.

Apoorva is produced by Dr. Samson and Dr. Ramakrishnan under the banner of Gauri Creations; music is by Vidyadharan Master and cinematography by Jithu. The film is expected to release in a couple of months.
