If all goes well, then one may as well see Amitabh Bachchan starring in one of Sanjay Dutt's home productions. It will be like a homecoming of sorts for the superstar, who began his career with Ajanta Arts.
Sanjay has apparently approached the Big B to work in his production, titled India, to be directed by Soham Shah. Sanjay is quite attached to the Big B and his son, hence he did not want to exert any emotional pressure on the star.
He is believed to have done it in a very professional manner by leaving word at the superstar's office that he would like the Big B to be a part of his movie. Incidentally, when Bachchan first arrived in Mumbai, it is said that he had a letter from the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, written to Nargis and Sunil Dutt to help him find work.
He did a small cameo of a dumb man in Sunil Dutt's Reshma Aur Shera. As for the film, the script is believed to have traveled from Karan Johar to Ajay Devgan, before it landed in Sanju's hands. He is believed to have fallen in love with the script and had promised the director that he would make the film with him. Interestingly, Sanjay will not be starring in the movie. The other actor, who has been roped in for the movie, is Zayed Khan.
